The stress on Quality starts at the entry level itself where
system based data links quality plans to each component,
supplier and sampling plans, which together form the
acceptance criteria for all purchases. All suppliers need
to be pre-validated and their supplier rating and processes
are closely monitored by the Supplier QA team.
Computerized manufacturing control systems adopted by Jumps
generate process control documents for all processes to
be carried out at the manufacturing facility incorporating
check-points and controls for each process. These are
regularly monitored and recorded by the line supervisors and
updated into the system to determine and improve quality,
efficiency & productivity and cut down process failures &
variability.
Pre-delivery inspection is carried out in the form of
dock audits which are conducted on random basis to detect any
inconsistencies that may have slipped through. In the unlikely
event of a customer complaint, resolution of the same is
monitored for adequate preventive & corrective action and
closure is tightly controlled by top management.
