modern manufacturing facility of
Jumps is designed to have a high degree of self-sufficiency to
better meet the exacting requirements of discerning customers,
with an ideal blend of conventional, modern and innovative
process technology.
The company operates out of
two plants at Gurgaon that cover
a total area of 70000 square feet, and the third pant in
Manesar is expected to on-stream in the middle of 2009. The
business model of Jumps is based on a
fully integrated facility
producing Starter Motors, Alternators & other related parts
used in manufacture of these assemblies. This helps to
exercise immense control on the processes and quality besides
giving a high degree of self-efficiency.
The company also runs a full-fledged an
In-house machine shop
incorporating CNC Lathe Machines, CNC Milling machines,
Automated Multi-head Drilling Machines etc to support the
manufacturing of end-brackets. The adoption of
single piece flow
and cellular manufacturing systems have
further given a new dimension to manufacturing excellence at
all Jumps facilities.
A combination of high technology in critical areas and
self-certifying techniques in assembly and manual operations,
enable us to reap the twin benefits of India’s low cost labour
yet employ precision techniques to achieve the
highest standards of reliability
and standardization.
It is recognized that expansion of capacity can only be
possible by automating processes to increase volumes, improve
quality and
reduce variability and new
equipment is constantly inducted for this purpose.
